Laura Jean Stenzel Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Laura Jean Stenzel, 35, of Spring Grove died Sunday, July 25th, 2010 at her residence. Laura was born in Los Angeles, CA on February 4, 1975, the daughter of Lawrence W. and Marilyn (Bique) Stenzel Sr. She was a graduate of Richmond-Burton High School in 1993. She worked as a self employed caregiver She attended the First United Pentecostal Church of McHenry. Laura is survived by three daughters, Madison E. Smith, Michaela M. Smith, Regan L. Banks: a son Reginald L. Banks; her mother Marilyn Vicha of McHenry, her father Lawrence Stenzel Sr. of Round Lake Park, IL, her maternal grandmother Jeanine Bique of Ingleside, IL, her stepfather Roger Vicha of Spring Grove, three sisters, Diana Hamm of Ingleside, IL., Angie (Troy) Steadman of Burlington, WI., Esther (Thomas) Sossong of Spencer, WV; four brothers, Robert Grothman of DeKalb, IL., Lawrence W. Stenzel Jr of Round Lake, IL., Stephen Stenzel and Aaron Stenzel both of Spencer, WV. Visitation will be from 9 am until 1 pm Friday July 30, 2010 at the First United Pentecostal Church 258 Sunnyside (Route 120) McHenry. The funeral services will be at 1 pm at the church with Rev. Mark Hildebrand officiating. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery in Libertyville, IL. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in her name to First UPC PO Box 847 McHenry, IL 60051.
