Kay F. Bawden

Richmond, IL Kay F. Bawden, age 73, of Ocala, FL and formerly of Spring Grove, died Tuesday, August 9, 2011 while in the company of family members at her daughter's home in McHenry, IL. Kay was born on August 4, 1938 in Antioch the daughter of the late Burt and Pearl (Blair) Anderson. She was a graduate of Antioch Community High School in 1956. She attended the Methodist Church of Antioch and the Ocala West United Methodist Church while in Ocala. She was an avid bowler She was married to Edward Bawden on March 31, 1956 in Antioch and he died Sept. 5, 2001. She was a self employed beautician for over 15 years retiring in 1996. She then became the manager of the jewelry department at the Globe Department Store in Fox Lake for over 10 years. Kay is survived by two daughters, Vicki (Kenneth Dean) Uselton of McHenry, Sylvia (Steven) Rosenquist of Antioch; three grandchildren Scott and Kristin Uselton, Steven Rosenquist; a sister, Patricia (Wayne) Polsgrove of Ocala, FL and a brother, Andrew (Trudy) Anderson of Antioch. She was preceded by her parents, three sisters Roberta Armstrong, Penny Kovalenko, Delores Anderson and a brother Charles Anderson. Memorial visitation will be from 5 to 7 pm Monday August 15, 2011 at Ehorn-Adams Funeral Home 10011 Main St Richmond, IL until the memorial service at 7 pm.
