Genevieve M. Eppers, 85, of Tomah, WI, passed away Sunday, May 31, 2015 at Prairie Du Chien, WI, as a result of injuries sustained in an auto accident. Genevieve was born in Chicago, IL on January 8, 1930, a daughter of the late Homer and Velma Wilson. She was married to Kenneth Eppers on October 2, 1948 and he preceded on May 24, 2015. She owned and operated dress shops Richmond, IL and Burlington, WI.,She was Executive Secretary at Intermatic in Spring Grove, IL and later at Vaughan and Bushnell in Hebron, IL. She then owned A Bridal Affair and One Hundred and One in Lake Geneva, WI. She loved books and spent much of her time at the library. She enjoyed going to auctions and collecting antiques. She was an avid quilter. Genevieve is survived by a daughter, Kathy (Art) Steinhafel, of Bent Mountain, VA; three sons Kenneth (Nancy) Eppers Jr., of Krum, TX; Michael (Joanne) Eppers, of Wonder Lake, IL; Thomas (Dawn) Eppers, of Twin Lakes, WI; 11 grandchildren Shawn (Julie) Eppers, Valerie Kearns, Tom (Becky) Eppers, Ashley (Mark) Hoglund, Abigail Eppers, Amanda Eppers, Kevin (Kimberly) Eppers, Andrew Eppers, Alexis Adams, Austin Steinhafel, Haley Steinhafel; eight great grandchildren and a brother Bob (Betty) Wilson of Burlington, WI. Memorial visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday at Ehorn-Adams Funeral Home 10011 Main St, Richmond, IL.
