Obituary of PATRICIA A. MILLER (nee BUSCH, RINDA) Patricia A. Miller, 89, passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at Ignite Medical Center in McHenry, IL. She was born May 20, 1934, in Burlington, WI to the late Bernard and Frances (Robers) Busch. On September 21, 1957, married Philip F. Rinda (died July 13, 1973). Married Vernon E. Miller April 21, 1990 (died December 2, 2003). Patty was a 1952 graduate of Richmond Burton Community High School. She worked in various jobs: Spring Grove Elementary as a kitchen cook; Richmond Burton High School and College of Lake County as a secretary; and retired from Kemper Insurance in 1995 as an Administrative Assistant. She was a wonderful loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She will be missed by all. Pat was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Spring Grove; Burton Township Trustee for eight years; secretary for St. Peter’s Christian Mothers; a member of the Spring Grove Snowmobile Club and the Spring Grove Elementary School PTO. She taught candle making for Spring Grove 4-H Club and loved quilting, gardening, and trips to her “favorite places of chance”. Patricia is survived by three children, Debra A. (Mathew) Miller of Johnsburg IL, Philip J.(Nancy) Rinda of Hudson IL, and Peggy J (Scott) Kolb of Roscoe IL; four stepchildren, Mark E. (Barb) Miller, Scott (Sally) Miller, Mathew L. (Debra) Miller, and Jeffrey N. (late Pam) Miller, sixteen grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren; two sisters Evelyn (late Larry) Elfmann, Richmond IL, and Jeanette (late John) Vierke, McHenry, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant granddaughter Patricia Rose Rinda, brothers Leon (Pat), James (Helen), Theodore, Jack, and sister Delores (Chuck) Walker. Visitation will be held at Ehorn-Adams Funeral home, Richmond IL on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, 3:00 – 8:00pm. Funeral services at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, 2118 Main St., Spring Grove, IL on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at 10:30am, with interment to follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery, Spring Grove, IL.
