Jeffrey K. Repaal

Jeffrey “Jeff” K. Repaal, 70, of Richmond, IL, passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at Burr Oak Manor, Genoa City, WI. He will be greatly missed. Jeffrey was born in Eau Claire, WI on November 11, 1953 a son of late Doris Hotvedt and Harry Repaal. He was married to Peggy Carlson on February 26, 1972 in Shopiere, WI. They were happily married for over 50 years. Jeffrey was a proud father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Jeffrey traveled internationally during his successful business career and developed many friendships with business associates all over the world. He was Director of Product Development for Dana Corporation/Affinia and more recently for Marmon Ride Control. He retired in July 2024. Jeffrey had a great sense of humor and loved to entertain others. He was an avid sports fan of the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers, and Wisconsin Badgers. He also enjoyed attending his grandchildren’s sports activities. His other interests included hunting, fishing, and trap shooting. He loved his two golden retrievers, Reggie and Remi, that he trained for hunting. Recently, he began to collect classic cars. Jeffrey is survived by his wife Peggy; daughter Jami (Jason) Brooks of Fort Wayne, IN; a son Jeremy (Lisa) Repaal of Fort Wayne, IN; five grandsons Nolan (Mallori) and Tanner Brooks and Owen, Myles, and Theo Repaal; one great granddaughter Scottie Jo Brooks; two sisters Kathy (PJ) Schmalz and Krista (Shaun) Eberdt; three brothers Greg (the late Sue) Repaal, Jon (Joan) Repaal, Steve (Diane) Repaal; a sister-in-law Jackie Carlson; a brother-in-law Curt (Robin) Carlson; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his parents and a brother-in-law Bill Carlson. A Celebration of Life will take place on November 15, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at The Shores of Turtle Creek 7908 Winn Road Spring Grove, IL. Inurnment will be in Turtleville Cemetery in Shopiere, WI at a later date.
