David J. Linneman

David J. Linneman, age 72, of Hebron, IL, passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, surrounded by his beloved family in Barrington, IL. Born in Elk Grove Village, IL, on February 10, 1953, David was the cherished son of the late Ella (Bruhn) and Gilbert Linneman. On October 14, 1978, he married the love of his life, Pam Marzahl, in Hebron, IL, beginning a journey together that spanned decades of love, family, and service to their community. A proud graduate of Harvard High School in 1971, David served as vice president of the Future Farmers of America (FFA) and dedicated his life to agriculture and community leadership. He was a lifelong livestock dealer, a respected member and past director of the McHenry County Farm Bureau, and a passionate advocate for local farming initiatives. His commitment to service extended beyond his profession—David was an enthusiastic McHenry County 4-H volunteer, a devoted McHenry County Fair volunteer, and a co-founder of Step-it-Up Rental and Pork Producers of McHenry County. Throughout his career, he worked tirelessly as a feed salesman and contributed his skills to the Village of Barrington maintenance department, leaving a lasting impact wherever he went. David's greatest joy came from his family. He is survived by his devoted wife Pam, his two loving sons Daniel Linneman and Tom (Eugenia) Linneman, both of Hebron, IL; and his five treasured grandchildren: Caleb, Kyle, Cora, Kane, and Caden, who brought immense pride and joy into his life. He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, who he now joins in eternal peace. Family and friends are invited to celebrate David’s life during visitation on Monday, June 9, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Ehorn-Adams Funeral Home, 9625 Main Street, Hebron, IL. A religious service will be held on Tuesday, June 10, at 1:00 PM at St. John's Lutheran Church, 9812 St. Albans St., Hebron, IL, officiated by Rev. Debbie Kelly.
